Museums in Sweden

 Millesgarden located just outside Stockholm, National museum of art in Stockholm, Vasamuseet museum in Stockholm, Goteborgs Konstmuseum in Gothenburg, Ajette are some of the great museums where you can spend hours learning about various things is one of the top things to do in Sweden.

Gota Canal
Riding along the Gota Canal, known as "blue ribbon" is a major fun thing to do in Sweden and it is one ofScandinavia's major tourist attractions with  beautiful scenery, aritificial canals, lakes and rivers linked by a series of 65 locks. Plenty of activities including canoeing, biking, cycling, nordic walking, passenger boats, offers infinite opportunities for adventures and activities to suit visiors both large and small.

Garden of Skerries
Take a boat trip from the center of Stockholm to the town of Sandhamn and you will see the scenic highlights and explore the archipelago in summer using the car ferries and bridges that connect it.

Castles and Palaces
Drottningholm Palace, located just 11 miles from Stockholm is a great place to start from. Kungliga Slotter is one of the few official residences of the royal family is open to the public. Castle of Bosjokloster has a great courtyard with thousands of flowers and exotic shrubs. Kalmar Slott called as the Key to Sweden is another historic castle to be visited.

 Stockholm Archipelago
Stretching for 80km east of Stockholm, the archipelago has some 24,000 islands with guided tours available which offer the chance to see some of the incredible flora and fauna that live on the diverse terrain.

Visby, Sweden

The town of Visby is one of the best preserved examples of a medieval town found in northern Europe surrounded by about a 2 milestone wall. You will see the original alleys and buildings and the original town square amazing place to see.

Ice Hotel in Sweden
The Ice Hotel is a hotel in northern Sweden made up entirely of snow and sculpted blocks of ice. Constructed and re-constructed winter after winter, the Ice Hotel takes guests during the coldest months of the year.

Major cities in Sweden

Malmo, Sweden
Malmohus Slott takes at least 3 hours to explore. Malmo Konsthall is one of the largest contemporary art centers with chicken blood and dung on canvas and such, it is an interesting museum to visit. Plenty of castles to visit in Svaneholm is another major attraction near Malmo.
