Travel Destination : Philippines! Loving Crimson Resort & Spa (Mactan Cebu)

I am most grateful for long weekends, because then, I get to be with my family plus the fact that I get to enjoy the places that are worth enjoying!

This Holy Week, our destination was Mactan, Cebu. This is the first time we are staying in Crimson Resort and Spa and it just thrills me to share with you how much we enjoyed every moment of it.

While it is true that it is scorching hot in the Philippines during summer, most specially during Holy Week, the beach and pool in this resort were our oasis at the moment.

The beach is ideal for kayaking & jet ski but not much for swimming. However, the lavish swimming pools were more than enough to compensate for that.

The resort is complete with excellent facilities : souvenir shops, the gym, the cafe ( Saffron Cafe is great!), the spa!, the kayak, the jetski --- everything seemed so thrilling!

The thing that is more of an advantage, is the fact that the resort is only ten minutes away from the international airport of Cebu. Also, if you want to just go out and explore the city, rent a van and in 20 minutes you will be in downtown cebu where you can find the historic cross of Magellan, the Sto Nino church, the Ayala Center-Cebu, the taboan market ( where you can buy the famous and really good delicacies : dried fish, dried mangoes and a lot more!)

If you are a local resident or a foreigner who happens to be in Cebu, why not try the Crimson Resort and Spa? I am sure it will be worth your money and your time!

I'm going to try this place next time I go to Cebu. Thanks for sharing! Stayed twice in Plantation Bay and once in Shangri-La Mactan but I think this place would be just as nice.
