How to Find Disney Vacation Rental Homes

Are you interested in staying in a vacation home during your next Disneyland vacation? Vacation rentals offer you the opportunity to stay near the Disney theme parks, while having the use of a furnished home, including a fully equipped kitchen and two or more bedrooms. You can enjoy the quiet and privacy of staying in a house, while still having the convenience of being in or near Anaheim, California.

In addition, from your vacation rental you will only be a short drive to the beach towns of Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach, with their miles of gorgeous beaches, restaurants, shops, art galleries, boat rentals and other attractions. You can also check out other theme parks in the area such as Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios or Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Of course, many visitors will also want to check out Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles or drive up to Hollywood and enjoy the attractions there.

Meanwhile, below you will find some of the top vacation rental companies in the area. They can assist you in locating a vacation home near Disneyland.

Storyland House Vacation Rentals

Storyland House has been around for over seven years and is locally owned and operated. They have a nice selection of homes which they rent throughout the year. You can check out their availability and rates, see photos, and get additional information on their website: storylandhouse. com.

You can also call them at 949-215-8537.

They have a full online reservation service. The properties come completely furnished with a full compliment of bed linens, towels, trash bags, toiletries and kitchen equipment to enhance your stay. On their website, look under the “Accommodations” tab to see photos and rental information about the properties they currently have available. Some of their properties can accommodate between 8 to 20 people per night, so renting a house can also save you a significant amount of money compared to staying in a hotel.

If you are considering using Storyland House for your next vacation rental, check out their website. Under the “Local Area Guide” tab, you can find information about the Disney Theme Parks, other activities in Anaheim and the Orange County area, links to local weather and special events.

Make sure you have the latest information on all the other Southern California attractions, too, including the local beaches. There are so many fun things to do here the year around, and a good guide is invaluable!

Cyber Rentals Vacation Homes

Another organization that rents vacation homes near Disneyland is cyberrentals. com/anaheim. They also have a selection of fully equipped and furnished properties that they manage in Anaheim,California. Their properties will sleep between 8 and 18 people, and are available in a variety of price ranges.

Cyberrentals. com has a complete website with online booking. You can see photos of their properties online, and check availability. Their website does not have links to the local information you’ll see on the Storyland House website, so be sure to check them both out.

Again, just like the other house rental locations, there are a lot of advantages to spending your vacation in a home. For many families, it can be more affordable and comfortable than a hotel.

Great Rentals Vacation Homes

A third site you might want to check out is Great Rentals. Their website is greatrentals. com/anaheim.

They also provide fully furnished vacation rental homes which they manage in the area near Disneyland. Prices, amenities and availability appear to be comparable to the other vacation rental companies in the area.

The main page of their website lists the available properties as a series of short classified ads. Click on the orange property descriptions, and you’ll be linked to a more in-depth description of the properties that interest you.

You will want to check out all three websites if you want to have a full range of choices that are available. These homes are a particularly good idea if you have a large family.

Whichever company you use, renting a home near Disneyland is a fun and affordable way to enjoy your Disney vacation.

We always stay at the Howard Johnson hotel right outside Disneyland when we visit, but I would definitely consider renting a house instead. Very helpful.

That Howard Johnson Hotel is very well located, and there are other hotels along the same street. Those are all good choices, if you decide not to rent a house.

Renting a home near Disneyland for a week or two is an excellent option, especially for large families. Once you have your housing set up, you can take easy day trips not only to Disneyland but to the Southern California beaches, Hollywood, Universal Studios and many other Southern California landmarks. I hope you make it back to my county one of these days. It's a great tourist destination!

I've been to both Disney Land in CA and Disney World in FL, and by far Disney World is superior. Lots of space and more attractions because there's more space for them. Disney Land is crowded inside and even worse, outside.

Guess this is the season for vacations, so this hub should be very useful for people who may want to make Disney Land their vacation destination.

I have also been to both Disney World as well as Disneyland and I agree that Disney World has a lot more space and more attractions. However, Disneyland is more convenient for people who live in the Western United States. It is also fun to visit when your Disney vacation is only a portion of your trip, and you want to see other Southern California attractions at the same time.

I love Disney World at Christmas, and the day before Christmas, Christmas Eve Day, was a lot less crowded the year I was there. This article can be helpful to people planning fall or Christmas vacations to the Kingdom, or nearby places. Sharing again!

I just saw this pop up on the feed and thought I would stop by and say hello. Do you know that I have never been to Disneyland? I have relatives in L.A. and have visited often, but never made it to the Magical Kingdom. Sigh! :)

Anyway, I'm glad I stopped by to say hello. Hope you are doing well.

Au fait - one our best visits to Disneyland was the day after Christmas. The weather was just a little drizzly, and we had the park to ourselves. So much fun!

Billybuc - thanks for stopping by. I hope you do make it to the Magic Kingdom one of these days. It's a lot of fun!

I think one of the best times to visit Disneyland or Disney World is around Christmas and including Christmas Eve Day. It was surprisingly less crowded the day before Christmas when I was there, maybe because everyone was at home with last minute preparations. Christmas Day, however, was extra crowded.

During Christmas the Kingdoms have the Electric Light Parade, they're open extended hours, and they have other special programs besides the parade.

This article can be very useful/helpful to people planning a trip to the Kingdoms and some people may be planning one really soon over the holidays. Sharing . .

Renting a home is often very affordable and much more comfortable than staying in a hotel. Everyone can have their own bedroom; you can prepare your own meals.
