Visit Arkansas

Source

Is not all about hillbilly central...

I know a lot of people get the impression that Arkansas has nothing but rednecks.
I can see why they'd say that BUT, that's not the case.

It depends on where you go.

Arkansas is a very beautiful state. . . Maybe that's why it's called The Natural State.

Wal-Mart's home is in Arkansas. Yarnell's Ice cream ( that went out of biz).

Little Rock is the capital, so I will start there first.

Little Rock has an airport so it will make it easy for you to fly in.
Make sure you visit the Clinton Museum. Arkansas is the home place of former President Bill Clinton... ( I've never met him before ).

I've heard he's a pretty cool guy.

I have met Governor Mike Beebe though. I got to eat dinner with him once.

Also visit the River Walk. If you come at the right time you might just get lucky and be around concerts, and food.

Arkansas is home of the RAZORBACKS. If you want to see them live, visit Fayetteville, Arkansas. I've never been there before but I hear it's beautiful.

Fayetteville, is a very big city.

Jonesboro, Arkansas is also a very nice city to visit.

If you come to Arkansas for some hiking you are in the right place.

If you come to Arkansas for some relaxin' visit Hot Springs, Arkansas. They also call that "Spa City". The water comes from the ground so it comes out steamin' hot. So if you want some of our wonderful natural water, bring empty jugs. It's completely free to get the water and it tastes wonderful. Also visit downtown. We have plenty of bathhouses.

Texarkana, Arkansas. Who wouldn't want to stand in Texas and Arkansas at the same time? Texarkana is becoming a mini Dallas-- without the tall skyscrapers.

Arkansas may be known as hillbillies, and rednecks. But we are also known for our naturality. It's a great place to live.

Will I live here all my life? I doubt it.

Texas is callin' my name.

I've always associated Arkansas with power couple Hillary and Bill Clinton so it's great to know something about this place beyond its famous folks.
