Zip Lining in Las Vegas - Ziplining the Desert
Where can you zip line in Las Vegas
Unfortunately, there is no zip lining experience on The Strip in Las Vegas, yet. Hopefully someday a person with some common sense will string a line from the Eiffel Tower at Paris to The Bellagio, allowing guests to fly across the Strip and over the fountains. As it stands, you've got to go out to Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City to have a zip lining experience. The good news is, this experience is amazing. The scenery out in those desert hills is unlike anything I've ever seen.
How do I get to Bootleg Canyon Flightlines?
Bootleg Canyon Flightlines is the only company running zip-lining tours in the Las Vegas area that I know of, and they will pickup guests on the Strip from Excalibur. They'll pick you up one hour before your scheduled zip-lining time. If you can't make their pickup, drive 93/95 south past Henderson towards Boulder City. Turn left on to Veterans Parkway and follow it down until you see BC Flightlines main office on the left about half a mile down the road. Or, you could just tell a taxi cab driver on the Las Vegas Strip where you want to go.
How much does it cost and what are the restrictions?
The cost for a ziplining tour is $149. I know that's not cheap, but it's also not an experience that you'll ever forget. Some children may not be able to participate, as the minimum weight is 75 pounds. They can stay back with your fat brother-in-law, because the maximum weight is just 250 pounds.
