How would you react when you would miss your flight for any reason?

   How would you react when you would miss your flight for any reason?
   
   So, how would you react when your plane leaves you due to, say, your kids not hurrying up or a delayed connecting flight? Would you kick and scream like that woman does on the video (look up hkia crazy woman on YouTube to see what I mean by that)? Would you just rant at the airport staff? Would you stay calm? There's no right or wrong answer, so tell me how you would react

   I've only recently flown for the first time, and I was a little worried that I would miss my flight. I'd remain calm, though. Throwing a fit or yelling at airport staff won't help anybody.

   It depends on which airport I am in, some are more fun than others. If I am in a lame airport I will probably buy an overpriced book I've been meaning to read from the bestsellers list. If I am in an awesome airport on the other hand, like Denver (which still has a smoking lounge) I actually love missing my flights as I usually get trashed and meet interesting people. Never missed a flight and had it cost me extra money (except the bar tab) or cause any problems.

   ...well, since I have missed my flight, the first thing I would do is to book the next available.  Then, since I really can't do anything about the situation, I would choose to make the best of it and enjoy myself.   I always welcome shopping, so that would be fun - then I would find a relaxing place to sit, order my favorite food and take my time eating. Then I would check my carry-on in a locker and take a nice long walk around the airport (inside).  If I still have some time to kill, there is always a magazine or book. And what a good time to catch up on email as well as coming up with ideas for new hubs.!

   I experienced this.
   I missed the flight not because I was late, but looking into the wrong day.  Here is the scenario.
   
   I had mind set that i always travel for company business on Sunday and next day (Monday) will be at work.  Without hesitation, I knew the week that I need to travel and I did the web check in on Saturday.  The system failed me after a couple of attempts. Upon checking the eTicket again, the date is correct but the travel day was on Saturday.  Goodness me!!! I was really panic and called the airline for next flight.  Was quite a struggled in getting the flight and air fare made the difference.  No show fee imposed.  As this is company trip, i really had to be thick skin and called up my boss to explain my situation.
   
   This is a lesson learnt for me. From then on, each travel i will check, and check on the date of the travel.

   Obviously you are annoyed to being with, but then you realise its nobody's fault and you take the steps that are needed to get on the next flight to your attended destination.
