Do you know the names of other countries by their flags?

when you think of the colors of your country's flag, do it reminds you of what country you belongs to, because behind the flag there exists a country?

As a child I new many countries national flags and emblems.Though many have changed in the last 50 years, it seems I still have retained the capacity to notice flag and country.
As for associating my country with it's flag it does not reflect the country to me.More the country reflects the flag.

I recognize the Flags of the Following Nations:

Quite a few. In all honesty, I think, if given any flag, I could name which country. And if given paintbrush, I could paint replicas of 70% of them.

I dont know why, but as a child I had a wierd fascination with geography and maps.

Recently went on a tour round the embassies in Canberra and could pick all but about 2 of the embassies just from their flags.
