This could be caused by several things, Scotty! When weird things happen to electrical systems it is often a bad ground which causes it. I would first unplug the RV and clean all of the grounded frame connections which include those on the 110 volt AC connecting pigtail itself where it grounds to the panel box and/or frame of the RV.
Next, check inside the 110 volt AC breaker panel to insure none of the ground wires going to the ground connector bar are touching any hot wires. Also check the line wires at the breaker connections and where they exit the panel box.
I ran into a similar problem not long ago and it was caused by the RV's owner pulling the 110 volt connecting pigtail too hard and dislodging the line wire from the panel box which caused it to short out on the metal box.
It may be also a bad receptacle, but checking these is usually pretty simple.
I hope these suggestions will help you find the problem. Good luck and feel free to ask for further info if needed.
