    Sunrise or sunset?

Do you prefer the start of a new day or the accomplishment of finishing one?

I love both actually.  I love rising in the morning knowing that limited things await me.  I love resting and feeling that peace of energy as the day ends as well.

    Personally i'm a sunrise person.

However I still have the memory of a beautiful purple sunset over the med sat outside the legendary Cafe del Mar, San Antonio, Ibiza from 13 years ago which I see in my mind every time the sun sets!

Reminds me I really should go back to Eivissa!

One follows another. Sunrise or sunset, both are natural and one has to follow another. Thus, for me both are equally important. I believe in both:

    1. Well begun is half done.

    2. All is well that ends well.

Sunrise. For me, it's a start of something new, a new opportunity, a fresh start.

In my country though, people are so engrossed with sunset, which is also lovely.

It is the Kansas skies that have the most lovely of all sunrises, and I am thankful, and appreciative of each that I have seen..........

My morning starts in a rush...........get the kids to school, head out before the morning rush hour to get to work...........I like the fall mornings when the sunrise is in my left window rather than in my back windshield.......I so do.

But, I am a doer, and I can not 'relax' until my duties are done.  When the work day is over, the laundry is done, the auto has been serviced, the dog fed, the supper cooked.........I RELISH watching the sunset.   Suprisingly, it is not California, or even Arizona, who has the most spectacular sunsets...........the most vivid and alluring that I have ever seen have been in New Mexico.....perhaps, it is because of how the light bounces off of the mountain ranges?

Perhaps, we should each appreciate what view we are given..........

Living on the west coast, near the beach, I have seen some beautiful sunsets.  However, I love the idea of a new day starting and therefore really value what the sunrise brings.

I am not much of a morning person so I prefer the sunset.

I am not a morning person either, but I definitely get up early for my sunrise photography.

I prefer the sunrise, it is something i see less of as I am usually up when the sun is setting, but don't rise early enough.  It is always nice to see a beautiful morning sun rise.

For me here in Brazil, I love the sunrise. I see it rise above the sand dunes and coconut palms. Everything starts to come alive.

The birds are on the hunt for insects, the rooster is crowing and the coffee is brewing. The early morning reflections on our lake are spectacular.

It doesn't get much better than this and I don't get tired of seeing it.

I'm not a morning person, so I've definitely seen and enjoyed more sunsets.  I enjoy sunrises more when I make a point of getting up to see them, not when I have to get up.  The photo looks like a sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean.
