    What is the cleanest beach you have ever been to?

    I have visited numerous beaches (on the east coast and the Gulf of Mexico). They all seem to look the same to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the warm sand between my toes, smell of salt water, and the sound of crashing waves. But, I don't care too much for the empty beer bottles, cigarette butts, and smelly, overflowing garbage cans on the beach. What is the cleanest beach you have even been to?

    Gulf Shores, Alabama.  Hands down the BEST beach I have ever visited.  Clean as a whistle.  (At least during my last visit, which was 2003)

    Wasaga Beach in Ontario Canada. It's a fresh water not salt water beach. It's the longest freshwater beach in the world and I have to say it's really clean.

    All beaches in Western Australia are clean, haven't seen polluted, dirty or even beach full of people in our parts...all pristine clean, natural and beautiful...but it is our secret so please do not tell this to anyone:)
