Jamaica.  My daughter and I have set out minds to going in March even though currently we really can't afford it.  We're working out and staying positive anyway, because I believe it you don't claim it-it won't become a reality.

I love your positiveness. Jamaica is awesome. I have never been but i've heard great things from friends who came from there. I hope this vacation becomes a reality for you too.

Having seen a lot of the world already, there is hardly a place I wouldn't mind visiting.  Have really been aching to see Budapest, St. Petersburg, Prague and Vienna (like a grand loop) in early fall or late Spring.  Then there is the classic European rendezvous - three weeks in the best cities of Western Europe. Thailand at Christmas time sounds intriguing.  I am also planning a trip to the US that would take a month or two, depending on where we start and what time of the year we end up going.  Basically, my bags are packed.

So, would a cruise be in your future? Since you said you want a grand loop of those places?

Enjoy the USA! What part of the USA are you planning on going to?

I took a three day cruise once - it was OK but I wasn't crazy about the cruise scene.  Have seen most of the major US cities.  For US destinations, I would like to investigate Savannah GA, travel on Route 66 and visit Mount Rushmore.  Great question!

Mmm... I totally understand the cruise scene. I was not crazy about it either. But I have only been on two cruises so far. (Alaska and Mexico) One on Carnival and another on... I forget tongue. My boyfriend has a friend whose parents traveled that route!

If money were no object, my first choice would be New Zealand.  I would also love to visit Sanibel Island off the coast of Florida, and Mauritius Island.

I love the ocean and walking the beach but I also like history. Europe comes to mind, maybe Italy or Spain, but somewhere on the ocean that has fascinating places of interest close by.

Hi Jean-ette, Croatia is an ancient civilization dating back to 4th century B.C. and earlier, with warm waters and clean, rocky and sandy beaches.  I would recommend Dalmatia in a heartbeat!

Vacations are rare for me. But if I had the money I would love to see the USA first, then hit the old country, England, France etc...that would be wonderful

USA is beautiful country! Since I live here, I have a slight biased opinion. We just had our elections so our people are a little upset.

I personally would LOVE to finally see my family for the first time in my life smile I am 18 and they have been wanting me to visit them in Vietnam since I was born. So, I would vacation there. I hear it's super duper hot!

My cousin lives half the year in Vietnam and he loves it there.  I heard that the best time to go is around Christmas time.  It can be done in baby steps:  the least expensive time to go and then make steps to make it happen!  Good luck!

Thank you! I don't want to move there though. LOL, I dislike constant heat. But, I heard the same thing as well. Christmas Time is the best time to go! I've just been swamped with school to even find the time. I think my dad is thinking of taking me.
