   I would go back to Boston, 1770, so I could meet my great to the 6th grandparents.  I would like to meet the founding fathers.  I would like to be a part of the radical independent people who fought for liberty against the tyranny of  King George.  I would like to be a part of a group of people who understand that there is a cost for everything. Somebody has to pay.

   This is a really good question.  It helps us to ponder our past and connect with the good times we wish to recall.  Mine would be age 13 when I was on an adventure camping trip in the SanJuan Islands. It was long ago and we were making a raft out of drift wood and enjoying the beach.

   This question requires a lot of thought.  Would we want to go back to a wonderful childhood or back to a place in history we especially admire so we could meet great minds.....or to dress up in those awesome victorian clothes though we might get "the vapors"....I love just thinking about this question ...if I really had to answer I would say a time in history when both my parents were still alive and healthy.

   I  think I would like to go back and raise my children in the 40', 50s and 60's . Things were slower. We did not take life for granted and had time to play. Our parents did not try to get us into every social activity. There way time for playing outside. Televisions were novel not the hub of the house. Drugs had not yet invaded the teen and college crowd. HIV was an unknown entity. Yes I would love to go back into those years.  Pensions were held, companies appreciated their employees. Husbands traveled but not like today and maybe most of all their were no cell phones and we could be a family and leave work and the outside world where it belonged.

   Hmmm this question seems strangely familiar.
   
   I would go back to 1980, and spend more time with my best friend in high school, and tell him how much I loved him, even if he smacked me in the face. But, I'm sure he would have just smiled and said ok. And, I would try to keep that friendship going no matter what. I really miss him.
   
   Then I would try to live my life better from that point on. Graduate from high school and go to collage to get the art degree I always wanted. Maybe learn how to design amusement park rides, or video games. Or, just get a career in the area of home design, and continue my other interests in writing, and art.
   
   And, try no to focus too much of my time on dating. I did a lot of that in the 80's, and I partied too much. Could have and should have done more important things. But, the bright side of that, is I am doing those things now. Just wish I had started when I was younger. Might be a different person today.

   I would go back to 1990, hoping I would do things drastically different. I was in one of the foggiest periods in my life ever and a true turning point from that year to 1996. I would have left the city I grew up in much sooner and I truly wish I had. The place I  would relocate to... Greenville, South Carolina, when I had the chance.

    It's hard to pick one, for me. I think I'd have to plead with "the force" (smile) to allow me to visit several times in my growing up years.
    
    First, I'd go back to my second grade classroom, where I met my best friend of the next ten years. I'd enjoy reliving how it felt to get to know her. Now that I'm past 50, I realize those kinds of friendships are rare, and I can honestly say I've never had another "best friend," who was better to me as a friend, in all my life.
    
    Next, I'd stop by the fourth grade to tell my very mean-spirited teacher how much damage one person can do to a child, and I'd ask her to "cheer up." I'd explain to her how her mean personality affected a lot of children, and how much her attitude made me and other children feel unloved and unworthy; how it became something mean inside of us that we had to rid ourselves of. The best thing about being in her class was being promoted so that we could leave it for good!
    
    Next, I'd pay a visit to fifth grade, which was a good year. It was the first time I'd had a male teacher, and he was a wonderful man and a great teacher. I'd tell him that, and then I'd sit next to and visit with all my friends from fifth grade. It would be nice to go out on the playground with them at afternoon recess, and ride the merry-go-round and play on the swings together, one more time.
    
    I'd make a few more stops in grade school before heading off to my undergraduate Alma Mater where I'd change my major to English with a minor in Literature. I'd begin writing novels as soon as I graduated, and not wait 20-plus years to get started.
    
    There would be a few more stops in my "young adult" life, and I would probably accept one of the two marriage proposals I turned down, or maybe I'd turn them both down again! At least I'd know more about what I was doing the second time around! 
    
    This is a great question, and I've enjoyed responding to it. It was great breezing down memory lane for a few minutes. Thank you for inspiring a trip I need to take. From here, I'll travel again from time to time, to reconnect and actually relive some of the milestone and memorable moments of my life.

    I have contemplated this carefully and I have come to the revelation that it would be ideal for me to go back to my first day out of my mother's (Jessie's) womb. However, most importantly I would have gone back with the knowledge and understanding that He is beside me every moment of my life and I could have that 2nd opportunity to correct the multitude of mistakes I have made. More precisely, correct the things I have done that were wrong and the things that I failed to do. There are too many to list... Therefore, I would choose to go back to Canada during the summer period of the year 1960...

    I think I would really like to have experienced the 1960s. Although our country was engaged in the war in Vietnam and were fighting for civil rights in our own country, it would still have been nice to be a part of a generation who CARED, about anything other than one's self. Learning about the history that surrounds that time makes me want to be more involved in politics and try to make a positive impact in my community. I'm tired of living in a time where nobody seems to really care about what's going on outside of their personal bubble. It's extremely disheartening to watch each new generation of kids become more and more selfish, with a sense of pure entitlement - and I'm only 28! I've deemed this current generation to be "The Silver Platter-ers."
    
    Another positive thing about the decade was the MUSIC! I don't know about anybody else, but I miss actual music, like from instruments. All this techno, elctronic, dubstep is just noise. I miss realy musicians, not just people who are good at mixing sounds.

    I'd go to Ranshofen, Austria at the beginning of August, 1889. I'd find Alois Hitler and make sure he did not engage in coitus with Klara Polzl, the woman who gave birth to Adolf Hitler 9 months later. I'd probably kidnap Alois for a month or so, making sure he wasn't around for what would have been the conception of Adolf. After that, I'd release him. A specific gene pool only exists once, and since the remainder of their children didn't seem to be evil (not that I know, anyway), there'd be no future Adolf Hitler or Holocaust. Everyone talks about going back in time and killing baby Hitler, but I think preventing his existence in the first place would be a nice way of going about it without the bloodshed.

    This remind me of this funny story. I had this girl I like when I was in university and I like her too, but I had a lot of issue, in my personal life and I don't want to date, till they got sorted out, so I didn't ask her out, she just thought I just want to be friends and about a year later, she moved to another city. She got married two years later and have two little girls. Then one day, I was watching back to the future and it suddenly remind me of that story, if I go back in time, change the past, so me and that girl do ended up together, then her two daughters would never be born then...OMG it might be as well as I just murder two little girls!!!!!!!!!!!!  OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!
