   Preferably neither. I do have a slight fear of closed spaces and deep water sop it would have to be space. I'd rather stay where I am though.

   There is so much which mother earth has to offer - Air, Land, Plants, Vegetation, Flora & Fauna, Animal Life. Let us stay on Land and sometimes go flying or diving.

   While I am not a great swimmer, I will take the underwater sea life - that way I can always have fresh seafood to eat

   So many interesting and ground breaking discoveries are happening in both locations. I have been watching the History2 series about ancient aliens which attempts to piece together scientific evidence of visitations from other planets in our past.  So, I think the exploration of space would be my choice.

   Though I'm not keen on being underwater I'd rather do that than live in space if I had to make the choice.  Presumably, living underwater would involve having some sort of environment which wouldn't mean having an oxygen mask on all the time!  Besides, think of all the wonderful creatures you could see all around you; better than being surrounded by dark space - that fills me with terror and is far too far away from 'my' world!   Great question!

   Good question. Both are no where near being explored(90% of the oceans in the world are not yet explored same I guess with space.) Now where do I want to live? Both can kill you since both have no source of breathing(you drown in water, the same in space). So where? Nowhere actually. I want to stay here on Earth for the rest of my lives, diving the seas occasionally and looking at the bright stars beyond. That's good enough for me

   Interesting question. There are aspects to both a residence in space and underwater living that seem attractive. Living in space would be neat if you had a good view of earth or maybe the option to "travel" and see other planets. Being underwater would be amazing if you could look out and watch sea creatures from with a safe home. Both could be a little scary or lonely depending how many people one was with.
   
   My final answer is living underwater, because there is so much about Earth's oceans we do not know about. But I do like my home on land!

    I have always said, God saved the most beautiful part of the world and put it under the ocean - therefore, I'm going with underwater.  I'm afraid I'd get bored of space and frightened.

    I would rather live in space, because it's less explored than the underwater world.  It fascinates me that we really don't know everything that's out there.

    Why should we think of going elsewhere when we are blessed with such a beautiful land called earth? I don't think any other location is as good as earth. Let me live on earth only,with good friends,books and music!

    As much as I would love swimming along the Marianas Trench or searching the seabed for Atlantis or observing the Giant Squid, I have to say that living in space is simply too tempting to turn down.  Imagine flying through and around the Horsehead Nebula, observing a supernovae or watching everything surrounding a black hole, including light, get sucked into this most powerful force we know. 
    
    Why do I have to choose?  Can't I spend some time in both worlds?  Great question.  Very thought provoking.

    I'd say if I had to make a choice, it would be living underwater.  I would be, however apprehensive because I don't know how to swim.  So if something goes wrong, I'd probably die of drowning. 
    
    With space, I would prefer not to live there.  I'm afraid of heights and although you'd just be floating around because of no gravity, if I ever stepped "outside" and floated away, that would be a bad thing.

    I would choose an underwater habitat because it's possible to live comfortably in space or underwater but any "extra-vehicular activity" would be much more enjoyable in water. I'm not an astronaut, I am a scuba diver. I believe an underwater habitat is feasible (on a temporary basis) and more easily sustainable.

    I'd love to live underwater. I believe home improvements will be so much more exciting there. I will never get bored underwater and that is something that makes this way of life more inviting.
