   To a certain extent, yes. Those without financial stress tend to be happier. But of course there are intangible things that make us happy that money could never buy. Most people realize this I think.

      Thank you Robert the Bruce. But money there are intangible things that money can let us have. For eg experience. Having money to go for vacation or trying out new activities with Friends and loved ones. Also we can also invest in others.

   One thing is for certain it's hard to be broke and happy!
   Money makes one's life "comfortable".
   You can't purchase an emotion or feeling.
   Happiness, sadness, anger, and melancholy are moods people experience in moments of time. Everyone has disappointments, heartbreaks, and tragedies that effect how they feel.
   No one has all of their days filled with sunshine and rainbows.

      Comfortable yes. But people tend to be happy when they are comfortable and have the things money can buy.

   In my opinion money is a means to buy the things which are available for sale. Whereas, happiness is worthless. No one can claim that he has bought happiness. However, money may bring some comfort in your life but again if one is not able to feel such comfort then what he would do next.

   A RESOUNDING AFFIRMATIVE YES!  Socioeconomic wealth does buy happiness.  When one has socioeconomic wealth, his/her quality of life is immensely better.  H/she has better nutrition, consuming superior quality of food especially meats and fish.  H/she has better access to health, medical, and/or dental care.  His/her children can attend better quality schools and opportunities to participate in cultural and educational activities.  Furthermore, his/her children are more likely to attain tertiary and higher levels of education. 
   
   When one is wealthy, there are greater life choices and options.  H/she can travel wherever and whenever h/she likes.  H/she can live a civilized, cultivated life beyond basic, primal existence where struggle and want are constant companions.  H/she also has access to the most update care in terms of retarding aging and extending the quality of his/her life.   
   
   Being wealthy means living in a safer, more secure, better maintained neighborhood.  Those who are wealthy have more political power and clout. They can make their elected officials work for their common good.  They have influence their politicians to make their neighborhoods, schools, and hospitals better.   They also have the power to influence and make an impact on the general society.  They make the rules that others follow.
   
   Being wealthy means security and not having to worry of providing the basic rudiments, paying the bills, and/or the monthly rent.  It also means that relationships are less stressful.  According to research, the main contention in relationships is money issues.  When one has more than enough money, relationships are smoother because there are no money worries.
