I live in Dublin now, but would love to live in Miami! The reasons: I love hot weather. Also, I love NBA and one of my favourite basketball teams is based in Miami (Miami "Heat").

Well for us; we are planning to live in a few places now that our nest is empty. We live in an ideal place for our girls, their loves, and our grandchildren at least for fall, winter and most of spring. However, for late spring, summer and early fall ideally we want to be in Canada and certain parts of Europe (i. e. Slovenia, close to Oxford, England, Scotland, Ireland...).

I can't wait for my children to grow up too so we can move to a tropical country.

I am very grateful to be living where I am right now.  I live in Sydney, Australia, probably one of the best cities anywhere.   The weather is a little on the hot and humid side in summer, but the rest of the time it's generally very clement weather and you can get out all year long.  It's a moderately big city: around four million, but not a mega city where there is little space.

There is access to a couple of dozen of the best surfing beaches in the world - not that I'm a surfer.  The mountains can be reached by within a couple of hours drive of the CDB.   There are tremendous facilities and all manner of entertainment and sports.   And, of course, Sydney Harbour is world famous.

But probably most of all, Sydney people - in fact Aussies in general - are a gregarious, friendly lot who don't put on any 'airs and graces,' but will come to you aid in time of need.

Right where I am now. We visited Dubai from the Netherlands in 2008 and 2011, and I said I would give my right arm to live here. We moved in 2014. We are here for 3-4 years, then back to the US.
