I am in my bliss right now in Seattle, the best of all worlds for me. I enjoy the crisp fresh air and the view of Mt. Rainier! It took me a long time to find my sweet spot and call it my home.
I lived in NH, and California growing up. In 1988 I moved to Virginia Beach VA, then lived in Florida in Panama City. We then moved to Houston, Texas, then Arizona, and Reno, Nevada. Reno is my second favorite spot. We were called to return to Kentucky, my husband's hoe state, then went to Maine and then ended up back in Massachusetts. We worked and scraped and saved to move west again, and in 2007 we landed in Seattle. I had never seen the place before, but instantly knew I was home!
Seattle has green trees, lakes, mountains and bay. A short drive takes you to higher mountains, the peninsula, or the ocean. It is a misnomer that it rains all the time here. The biggest secret about this area is that the weather is fine, but the natives do not want any more people to migrate here, so they just go along with the old adage!
