Home sweet home, I guess but if I have the chance, maybe I'll choose USA

Depends on the region. California or the Mediterranean would both be fine for me.

I would choose Europe over US. If you asked me 10 years ago, I would have chosen the US. These days, I believe it is more economical to live in most of the countries in Europe than the US. Well, that is just my own opinion.

Why? You don't consider rest of the world worthy of living?

England, I don't consider my self British or European, my son lives in the USA, I wouldn't want to.

I don't know.  I've never lived in Europe, and so, I'd have to live there to answer the question.  I'd gladly give Europe a go, just so long as I have steady high speed internet access, food, and shelter.

I'm thinking of moving back to Europe; specifically Belgium or Germany. It is more expensive in Western Europe. But for some reason I feel more at home there. And, for a journalist that's where the action is. Asia is too tame; Africa is rife with disease; and the Middle East is too hot and too Islamic. Anything east of the Czech Republic is asking for trouble -- unless you're visiting.

I have neither visited nor lived in either place. Hence, can't decide objectively. But just based on perception, I would say Europe. I could be terribly wrong though smile

Europe: for the food, the culture, the smaller quaint towns

USA: the road trips, the people

It all depends what you're looking for.
