Trip to the Philippines: Hidden Valley Springs in Calauan ,Laguna

Another captivating and enchanted place to visit in the Philippines is the Hidden Valley in Calauan, Laguna.

Who would have thought that within the boundaries of Calauan and adjacent town of Alaminos dwells a hidden paradise. A valley that could give you peace, rejuvenate your tired nerves and heal your "aching soul". Aside from the tropical resort, there's a hidden falls that can be reached by traversing the nature’s grandiose entrance of falling leaves from those big trees, cold breeze from different kinds of plants and echo from the singing birds. A one of a kind experience away from the city life.

I barely realized that it will be another memorable journey ‘til I saw and enjoyed the whole place.

Here are some photos of the place:

Hidden Valley Springs

Warm pool- water is lukewarm and very soothing to the body. They also have "Soda pool" which is alkaline and "Lover's pool" which is perfect for couples.

Important notes:

1. If you are ready to plunge in the water, they are strict with their policy to wear "proper swimming attire".

2. Have your reservation first before you go there. The resort is a bit pricey but the experience is worth it. They also offer day tour for more or less 2000 Php ( more or less $45) per head.

3. No food and drinks allowed. (they are already included in the package).

4. Be ready to hike and get wet to see the hidden falls...

5. ENJOY!
