What are the most important things to remember before traveling?
Always.... I mean ALWAYS.... wear clean Undies!

0 All that is important is travel tickets, money and credit cards, and, of course, a passport if going abroad.
Other things, such as toothpaste, can always be bought at the other end if they have been forgotten.
I don't see the contents of a suitcase as "defining me as a person"
Organise travel insurance which I am trying to do right now before we head overseas next month - Register with Smart traveller .Make sure you have your camera charged with spare batteries etc !! You don't wwant to miss a great photo opportunity !
Definitely passport and visa if travelling out of the country. I would also say remember to bring along a fun attitude. Not everything will go according to plans and it is best to be flexible
