a Tornado! As far as I know it didn't touch down, but there were numerous trees down in the streets when I went to pick up my son from his work (normally he would walk home).
And then, after I returned, starting to log back in to HP, I heard this big Hubbub, as the men of the family rushed outside to look up at the sky.
In the west, eerie vivid gold. To the east, the most perfectly full half-circle of a beautiful rainbow that I have ever seen. A very light, slight double rainbow outside it. But the inner one would set the standard for how to use a compass in geometry class.
So, what is our family doing this summer? Why, chasing rainbows of course. What about yours?
The storms are making the heat run from us!
Last weekend it was as muggy here as the Gulf Coast in August. But now it's just humid and mild. Pretty pleasant after the storm, actually.
