What Ever Happened to America the Beautiful?

America the beautiful ?

What ever happened to America the beautiful. As I was growing up everyone took pride in their yards and cities. Now it seems like no one cares anymore. Yards and streets are cluttered with garbage. Over the years even the ocean, lakes, pond are filled with arbage. Seems like America has gone down hill so much. Prayer as been taken out of our schools, they want to take "In God We Trust" out of our currency. Our four fathers came to America to make better lives for themselves and for their families. Now it seems as though only drugs and gangs run America. Our government officials are a joke. They say what we ant to hear then when they get into office it's I can't do that or  I don't remember saying that. The president can't do anything without congress voting on it.

If everyone took pride in their neighborhood and yard and opposed the government,we'd have a much better place to live.We need to stand up for what we believe in. We put these people in office ,we can take them out too. If we all got together, cleaned our streets. If we get involved more with our kids the gangs and drugs would diminish. Let's start taking pride and showing we care about America. Let's make this America the beautiful again. If you see someone litter, tell them put it in the trash don't litter.

Littering is just anti-social, I completely agree with you.

I agree. You cannot go anywhere without seeing trash on the sidewalks, the streets. I try to pick up trash when I can and know that God in the end will reward me for it. It not now, in my life after.

Not only is littering messy looking but it is also unsanitary and can help to ruin the environment. It is so simple to dispose of things properly!

Copied twice...so I will just add that America the Beautiful is worth preserving.
