The Video Capsule

The Video Capsule allows you to embed videos from two of the most popular video-hosting platforms on the Web. Adding relevant, useful videos to your article can help your readers understand your content better.

The Video Capsule supports the following platforms:

• YouTube
• Vimeo

Simply enter the video URL (Web address)—the full embed code is not necessary—and click the Preview Video button.

You can also start an embedded YouTube video at a certain timestamp using either of these methods:

1. When viewing the video you wish to embed on YouTube, pause the video at the time you want to start, navigate to Share, check the box for "Start at" time, and copy the link.
2. Add "&t=time" at the end of any YouTube URL, where time is in the format hours, minutes, and seconds. For example, to start a video at 1:45, add &t=1m45s.
