I have a B.S. in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology. I have 8 years of experience working with children from various socio economic backgrounds, and a variety of special needs. I also have been diagnosed with two autoimmune based diseases which are not debilitating but also not appropriately handled by western medicine. Therefore, I also have 10 years experience trying and learning about various alternative medicines, from homeopathy to rolfing to body magnetism, vietnamese medicine, and currently am participating in acupuncture and chinese medicine. I also have self taught myself a lot about nutrition, and have been a vegetarian for almost 3 years. I am transitioning into a vegan lifestyle, and am passionate about using food and our environment as a source of health and healing. I am also very fond of yoga :)
