To me, the reason for writing publicly is to make a positive difference in the world - I hope that is what I have done in the past and will continue to do in the future.
My writing career dates back to early childhood, when I first wrote a story about a homeschooled girl (like me) and her "Big Test". I always kept a diary and later became Editor of my synagogue's newsletter for a time.
During my college years in the US and abroad, I continued to write about my experiences and opinions. While in graduate school (I am a trained graphic/Web designer), I wrote and published a children's E-book on caring for guinea pigs, a subject that is also close to my heart.
In addition to animals and design, my interests extend further to such topics as philosophy, psychology, family, and teaching.
