I’m Diane Harwell, a work from home woman who lives in North Carolina.
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of owning my own home-based business. I worked at many different jobs outside my home over the years, up until about ten years ago when I had to have my leg amputated. Even though I am drawing Social Security, I didn’t have enough income to pay my bills. I can drive a car, but I can’t manage my wheelchair alone. So going back to work in a job outside my home would be difficult if not impossible for me.
So since then I’ve been on a marathon conquest to find the perfect home based business which I enjoy doing while also paying my bills and making a little extra money for myself. As I’ve been doing research and learning more about starting a home based business, I’ve realized that there are literally millions of women like me who would like to make money from home with their own little business. This was when I had the idea of building this blog and compiling many little ‘how to’ articles describing what I’ve learned about setting up and running a home based business.
So what you have here is a site specifically for home business ideas, offering free informative articles as well as links to various resources to help you start your perfect home-based business.

In setting up and running a home based business, one of the most important lessons I have learned is that you must know how you define success.
