Dr. Apoorva Mishra is one of the youngest Indians to adopt the concept of FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early). He voluntarily retired from the full-time job as an ‘Assistant Professor’ at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Pune at the age of 32 to explore life and follow his passion for writing, traveling, spending quality time with family, and 'living the life to the fullest.' He is a renowned research scholar and holds a Ph.D. in the broad area of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
He is a published author and has published articles in the various reputed newspapers/portals and magazines like ‘The Times of India (Education Times),’ 'The Economic Times (ET Government),' ‘CSI Communications,’ etc. He also provides consultancy as a freelancer on a part-time basis. He has served as the Guest Editor of the Springer Nature Journal ‘SN Applied Sciences,’ Topical Collection on Engineering: Artificial Intelligence.He has filed three patents and has published around 25 research papers in various peer-reviewed international/national journals and conferences. He has also received the ‘Gold Medal’ from the university for scoring highest marks in M.Tech. In the past, he has also gained industrial experience while working at ‘Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).'
