My articles mainly touch on continuous improvement as espoused in lean management thinking. Topics in lean thinking such as Jidoka, Nemawashi, Heijunka, Kanban, Poka-Yoke and Organizational health and safety are what interest me the most.
During my years in supply chain logistics and inventory management, I have been involved in continuous improvement projects within the internal supply chain as well as in out-bound logistics.
The experience gained in improving processes in the airline industry has given me a keen eye for improvement opportunities in many other industries. Kaizen can be applied to any situation, be it personal or business and the kaizen principles have been tried and tested for many years.
