6868People keep asking me what I want to do with my life. What is my passion? I have developed great aversion to these questions, because the truth is I have many passions that do not fold neatly into a little box. I do not like to live by crudely set dimensions. Frankly, I find it stifling. Maybe my parents gave me too much encouragement growing up. They constantly told me that I could do and be whatever I wanted. So now that I am an adult, people want me to be realistic and practical. Uh, I hate that word: practical. Some may think I have my head in the clouds with an all too far-fetched perspective on life. But I believe in opportunities. I believe in creativity and the power of imagination. I believe in the voice inside my head that tells me never to settle. Never settle.
The idea is: the world is a big place. Understatement of the century, yes…maybe, but what I am getting at is there are too many amazing things out there for me to pick and settle on just one. I am not a lukewarm kind of person. I dive into things headfirst. I love researching, learning, growing my skill set, and most of all I love sharing everything I find along the way. Beauty tips, fashion, fitness and health, DIY arts and crafts, design, travel, animals, ways to be socially and environmentally responsible, all of these things capture what drives me forward every day. So stay tuned. There are sure to be some pretty great (I would even say remarkable) articles posted on here.
