Kenny Beck has been involved with the entertainment industry for quite sometime. Starting as an actor, at the tender age of 8, he has been a member of several prestigious acting companies and attended the New York Academy of Theatrical Arts. At age nineteen, he was a certified college instructor (California) at LACC overseas (Korea), teaching drama, voice and diction. He's toured Korea in a self produced show he had written, receiving a medal and several commendations from the Korean government and the US ARMY. Beck's received the Theater of Renewal Best Actor Award (TOR). Other TOR award winners include Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Jane Seymour and Michael Moriarty. Beck has performed in plays by playwrite Abiola Sinclair at the Harlem Renaissance Theater, and was a principal performer in the off Broadway extravaganza Tutankhmen. He has performed dance and martial Arts exhibitions, in a review of that show. Maurice Starr's Hollywood Talent Night in Boston has launched the careers of several multi-platinum artists. They include The New Edition, Bobby Brown, Bell, Bv & Devoe (Ricky, Michael, and Ronnie) and Ralph Tresvant (their original lead singer). Mchael Bivins (Bell, Biv, Devoe creator) went on to discover and produce one of the world’s most successful boy bands,Boyz to Men, every album they made turning multi-platinum. Another highly successful group to come from the Hollywood Talent Night was New Kids on The Block & associated brother of Donnie Wahlberg, A list actor Mark Wahlberg. His next major stint came when he was signed by Stock, Aitken & Waterman (PWL) as a recording artist. This was at the beginning when they started real international success with a record by Princess (Sat I'm Your Numbr One). Beck got their attention by doing a male cover of the song. Beck recorded, wrote, produced, mixed and re-mixed several songs with them. Some of STOCK, AITKEN AND WATERMAN’s other productions include Dead or Alive (You Sin Me Round, Like a Record Baby), Rick Astley (Never Gonna Give You Up), Kylie Minogue (I Should Be So Lucky), Bananarama (Venus). Beck is still producing, writing and recording. He negotiates publishing, production, and recording agreements. Since moving to Los Angeles from London he’s had development deals with both Chrysalis and Capitol Records. He continues to run his own label and publishing companies (Baby Beck Records/Music, Baby Beck Entertainment) and has recently completed work on Dazzzzle's album, the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas cover/software girl. He is very well versed in all aspects of the music business, both foreign and domestic.
