After working over two and a half years as a content editor & content idea strategist for a marketing company in Manhattan, I realized something: I wasn't happy. However, I also knew that at age 27, leaving my salary and stability went against everything I believed in and every value I was ever taught. BUT, after a lot of prayers, debates about using faith versus logic, motivational speeches, and confirmation, I knew I had to exit. So a few months after getting promoted with a raise, I put in my 2 weeks notice - without a game plan, unsure of what the future would hold. After moving away from my family in Westchester to New York City, my leap of faith really paid off. I genuinely know that I'm walking in my purpose, and I'm happier than I've ever been. I'm continuing to learn, grow, and thrive. I feel incredible....dare I say it, unstoppable. I'm now in pursuit of touching others. Hopefully, my words can motivate, encourage, and inspire you. Many people I meet say that I should be a life coach or motivational speaker, but I have no desire to do any of those things. My passion is writing, and hopefully, I can uplift you and be a light through HubPages. If something you read hits you, let me know. I would love to hear from you! Have a fantastic day/afternoon/evening :)
