Hi! My name is Nathan, and I am currently a master's student in Germany, working towards a degree in European Studies. I am originally from the United States, and possess a high degree in fluency in English (my native language), German and Dutch.
My interests are broad, and range from cooking to writing about political developments all over the world. Being gay, LGBTQA+ pieces also interest me.
During my undergraduate studies, I wrote many opinion pieces regarding a variety of issues for my college's student newspaper.

Leaving home sucks. Whether it's your family, friends or memories, you leave something behind. But it also presents an opportunity to grow and learn about yourself in ways previously unimaginable. Here, I show the challenges (and unexpected culture shocks) of being a US student in Germany.
