Amy RedCloud (PrettyGirlsPlay)

I am a true lover of music from the classical to the modern eras and everything in between, and my instrument of choice is piano.

I am a classically trained pianist through the John W. Schaum piano method and I have been playing piano for 19 years. I have played at various events including weddings, funerals, parties, talent shows and have served as accompanist for other musicians and singers. I have also served as a church musician for different churhces and am experienced in various styles of worship music including traditional gospel, contemporary, spiritual and modern gospel.

I attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and although I did not major in music I did elect to take certain music courses including fundamentals of music theory, music theory, music history, piano class (2 semesters), and recital hour.

I am a member of the North American Music Teacher's Association.

I look forward to sharing my love of music with you and invite you to open yourself up to the wonderful world of piano and the wide range of benefits that come from learning to play an instrument!
