Hello every one! I'm a laid back guy that owns an insurance restoration company. We travel all over the United States fixing peoples homes that are damaged by severe weather events. Fire, Flood, Wind and Hail!

I recently became interested in online marketing, I find it fascinating and there's a decent learning curve involved. I was only interested at first in an effort to get my corporate website better results when some one searched based on my keywords.

Well after reading alot of information I began to see that my industry has highly competitive keywords. Then I realized that some of the other companies competing for my keywords are the likes of Owens Corning, GAF, etc. etc. LOL Undaunted I kept learning and decided to start making some extra money with online marketing!

There is a crap load of re-hashed articles on the internet about search engine optimization! It reminds me of when a mother bird brings food back to her babies and regurgitates her original content and drops into their mouths. LOL

However, there was a diamond in the ruff! I did get lucky enough to run across a product. I wrote my very first hub about it, and all my learning is why I'm here in the first place.

I know I probably should have hubbed about my brick and mortar business first, but I've been doing that for years and it's not as exciting and new as internet marketing, so yeah.

Anyways, I guess I should make a couple hubs about my regular business too.

Is a Myths versus Facts hub not very popular? Should I have made the title different? Please look at it and either comment here or on the hug either way. Be honest, Be brutal!

Two years ago I used a flyer I had made for my salesmen on the front page of my website. The flyer did so well in the field I figured it would do well on the web also. Well a year ago I'm sitting in my office and get a...
