My real name is Ellie, and I am a 23 year-old who is currently a specimen processor. I am hoping to return to school as soon as money is better and I have a day job. Education wise, I happen to currently have an Associate's in Arts degree and also a variety of introductory science classes. Despite the fact I've only taken introductory science classes, science was always my strongest subject and I tend to understand its concepts more naturally. I'm naturally the kind of person who is rather inquisitive and tends to be skeptical of everything they read and hear. This is in big thanks to my having been loosely diagnosed with Asperger's when I was 6 years of age. I had a rather unique childhood and experience in school throughout my life, which really shaped my view of how society rolls.

I also happen to have a rather prominent creative streak. To unleash my creative energy, I sometimes upload YouTube videos and also create paintings and digital art (will participate in Photoshop contests here and there), etc. I used to volunteer at a local hospital doing clerical work for various laboratory departments (pathology, cytology, etc.), and was exposed to more science stuff in the meanwhile. Previously I was a volunteer at the local humane society, although I stopped because it conflicted with my school schedule and was costing a decent amount of gas money (isn't across the street from my house).

I chose to join Hubpages in search of networking with individuals who share similar interests and background to my own (or those who differ from myself so I can expand my own understanding of the way life works).
