StoneBridge Farm and Apiary is a first generation small family honey farm located in South Eastern Ohio. We have noticed that the small family farms are disappearing off the map. The foods that are available to the public are not of the highest quality, contain many preservatives, and are becoming more and more expensive to purchase. Most of the foods that are available for purchase are not only grown in some far away land, but half of the time we have no idea where our food comes from. We do not believe that the public should have to settle for the reassurance of the larger conglomerates of the food industry. We should know where our food comes from, be able to see or visit the farms, and know what just does go into them. We feel that better tasting, home grown, high quality foods should be a way of life. The public should be able to taste the homemade goodness in every bite.
In the off-season,I enjoy writing, crafting, and catching up on farm business. I have recently found the joys of freelance and online writing. This is quickly becoming a passion of mine. I write on eHow, Bukisa, Infobarrel and Blogger as well. I find a great pleasure from sharing my knowledge with others. It is my way of paying it forward. Thank you for visiting!
