Let's face it, our pets are important to us. We love them, we're proud of them, we think our pets are the best in all the world. Sometimes we want to talk about them, show them off or get advice on their care. Thanks to the internet, there are numerous places we can go to do just that. Groups of friendly pet lovers from around the globe gather at these sites to talk about the animals they share their lives with. You will be welcomed too.


PET WEB SITE - The Pet Web Site Forums are not just for dogs and cats. Here you can discuss everything from pet birds or ferrets or horses or rabbits, among others. Boasting over 5000 topics and over 4500 members, this site stays active. There are links to articles and stores as well. Worth a stop-by.

PETS HUB - Pets Hub covers the gamut in types of animal categories as well. There are also pet stories, pet poetry and pet jokes categories. Discussions about pet insurance and rescue and adoption are also offered There's a list of pet name suggestions and a pet loss support and memoriat or trainer or groomer. It's a friendly place. Pets Hub even includes links with information on how to become a veterinarian.

PET LOVERS - This is a pretty comprehensive site that takes things a little further than just discussing your pets. Animal-lovers can mingle at the Pet Central Cafe and they do encourage photos of both you and your pet at The Pet Portraits Central. There is also a category to talk about animals and pets in your favorite books or movies. Included on this site is an animal rights discussion board as well as classified ads and other features.

PAW TALK - Paw Talk takes animals seriously. With over 9000 members, this site covers issues as well as pets.       I used to be a member of petlovers.. left after the place was taken over by a bunch of whiny bored ladies with nothing to do other than disagree with everything everyone says.. even if they agree with them. Its really not a friendly place to have any type of real discussion about rights, or politics.. even pet care goes over board.. and the moderators are all part of the "clique"

      I like the ASPCA discussion boards.. You should definitely check those out..
