Updated on April 26, 2018

Do you want to learn about German shepherds, bulldogs, and poodles now? If you do, you landed on the right spot cause that's what I'm going to converse about next.

German Shepherds

These dogs are also called Alsatian wolf dogs and originally from Germany.

They are medium to large-sized working dogs, and the seventh-most registered breed by the The Kennel Club in the United Kingdom and second-most registered breed by The American Kennel Club.

Male Alsatian wolf dogs can weigh between 30 kilograms and 40 kilograms in weight while the female ones can weigh between 22 kilograms and 33 kilograms in weight. The height of the former can be up to 65 centimeters high while the latter can be up to 60 centimeters high.

Their litter size can be between 4 and 9 puppies. Their lifespan, on the other hand, can be up to 13 years.

By nature, they are very loyal, curious, obedient, watchful, courageous, and intelligent.

Bulldogs

They are also known as English or British bulldogs and originally from England.

They are medium-sized, muscular, hefty dogs with distinctive pushed-in nose and wrinkled face. According to the American Kennel Club, they are the fourth most popular breeds of dogs in the United States of America in 2016.

Bulldogs are available in many colors, including white, fawn, red and white, piebald, red brindle, and brindle and white, to name a few.

The height of male bulldogs can be up to 40 centimeters high while the female ones can be up to 40 centimeters high as well. The weight of the former can be up to 25 kilograms while the latter can be up to 23 kilograms. Also, their lifespan can be up to 10 years.

When it comes to behavior, they are friendly, docile, gregarious, and willful.

Poodles

They are also known as caniche or pudelhund, and originally from France and Germany. They can be standard, miniature, or toy poodles.

They are well-proportioned and squarely built with dark eyes and single layer, curly coat. They are as well hypoallergenic.

They are obtainable in numerous colors such as apricot, cream, white, black, black and white, black and tan, silver, and sable, among others.

Poodles' height can be from 24 centimeters high to 60 centimeters high. Their lifespan, on the other hand, can be up to 15 years.

By nature, they are alert, trainable, active, intelligent, and instinctual.
