Trust me. A cat will let you know what it wants. Perhaps it will start with an audible greeting. A sharp meow to get your attention. Then, it may start walking away, towards its bowl. It may stop and turn around and look at you.
Again, it may meow. It may come back to motivate you to walk. It may even try to get closer to your ears, by standing on its hind legs. Again, it may walk away and turn around to make sure you are following.
Yes. That cat will herd you to your destination. Its cat dish. Which, of course, is as empty as a cat dish can be. Which means that you must go into your food storage area and procure a container full of new food to drop into its dish. Once you have fulfilled this request, your time here is done.
