Cats and Dogs: Enemies or Friends?
Cats and dogs. More commonly known for having a natural hatred towards each other, but what do we really know about the bond between these two animals. Do they really have a natural instinct of hating each other?
Dogs and cats are both mammals, meaning they eat meat and will hunt to get it. Most dogs will go for kittens and try to eat them, and mother cats will instinctively try to defend their babies. Dogs and cats don't have a specific hatred for each other, no more than any other animals that don't get along- but these animals are normally forced to interact with each other inn households, as they are pets.
As dogs and cats grow up, they can be taught how to behave, recognise their mothers, interact with other animals (where necessary cats and dogs).
Cats and dogs are very different animals, and have different natures. It has certainly been proven that these animals were not born with a dying hatred for one another, but more of a depending on the cat or dog there might be a different approach to the other species. Some cats and dogs hate each other, and some like each other- this really depends on the certain animal itself.
The feud between dogs and cats has been an ongoing question, that many still cannot get their heads around. Honestly this question cannot be specifically answered, it is all up to your own opinion- no answer is wrong. Both cats and dogs liking each other, or hating each other are possibilities.
Keep on questioning.
