Lions, Tigers, Bears, Oh My!
Summer Vacation in Ohio
Our summer vacation began with wanting to visit Kings Island one of the best amusement parks in the world. the day before our trip to Kings Island we decide to check out he zoo. It was about 8:45 am when we arrived at zoo. We started out at the reptile house and we got a few picture but it was very crowded so we decided that we would move on to the next animal and we would come back to the reptile house later.
As we moved from one exhibit to the next we realized we had walked pass the zoo maps and it would be better if we marked off the areas visited as we passed them. Once we opened the map we were completely surprised at how much area we had to cover. We walked and walked the more animals we saw the more we wonder how many more animals could there be in one zoo. That is about the time we came upon the monkeys, I had never seen that many monkeys in one zoo. I have not visited that many zoos but I have visited the zoo in Atlanta Ga, and Nashville Tn. When you compared the Atlanta Zoo and Nashville Zoo to the Cincinnati Zoo you realize there is no comparison.
Dora the Explore in 4D
After viewing some of the animals we noticed a Dora the Explore show that was going to be showing at the zoo so we all walked over to catch the show. This was the first 4D experience our boys had ever had so they were really into it although my 13 year old tried to play it cool he too was excited at the show. Not only was it nice to see an animated 4D show it was also a good chance to cool off. There were times that water was sprinkled into the audience as a splash back effect from the show. Our seats vibrated and moved from time to time and that was cool also. My four year old was excited at the bubbles Dora was blowing into the audience. After the show he looked up at his dad and said, "that was tso cool dad you are most awesome dad ever.
