Dogs We Have Had In Our Family
When we moved to this beautiful piece of property here in the Missouri Ozarks my children wanted PETS. We had tried the cat thing and this frog has allergies really bad when it comes to cats. The frog wanted a dog,but not just any dog.
I began the long search for the right PET for my family. One day a man I worked with said his labs had pups and were ready to be weaned. I made the long journey to his farm.
I believe there were 7 pups all together. They were adorable, but I just happened to notice this one off by himself. He was so well-mannered. It looked to me that he had no difficulties getting to mama's milk. Yep,that is the one Froggy brought home.
My children loved Rocky. He was a very good dog. I have only this one puppy picture of him. He was a major part of our family until shot by a stupid hunter.
We Miss You Rocky!
Boss and Ice
These two PETS joined our family not long after Rocky was shot. I must admit that these two were an experiment of mine. It was a good one!
My neighbor has a purebred dingo. I have another friend with a pure chow. We put two and two together and out came Boss and Ice. They were great watchdogs. There is a need for that around here.
Both of these beautiful PETS lived to pretty old ages, actually Boss is still alive and lives with an elderly lady. Ice got old and crippled up and finally passed on.
We miss you Ice and Boss!
Coco-Froggy's American PitBull
Our PET now is Coco. She is a purebred American Pitbull. Anyone that thinks all Pits are mean and terrible needs to meet Coco. People,it is how they are raised!
I have seen articles about cropping ears and stubbing tails. In my opinion,NO! Can I trim your ears? God did not intend for their ears to be cropped.
Well enough on that, you know my position.
Here are pictures of Coco. My purebred American Pitbull.
I say if you need companionship--Get a PET!
