Are you tired of your dog digging holes in your backyard? Well there is one simple solution to your dog digging holes After trying different ways to stop him from tearing up my backyard, my husband and I saw a light go off in our heads. I tried this solution five years ago when my dog was one years old. He has not dug a hole since. Here is how to stop a dog from digging holes in your yard or garden

Simple Steps

Step 1

After your dog has relieved himself of his waste, take your pooper scooper and collect his waste. Or whatever way you collect his waste. People with small dogs tend to use a gloved hand.

Step 2

Put the dog's waste in a garbage bag mixed with dirt/soil. Collect over a few weeks period.

Step 3

In places where he likes to dig holes, put the soil/waste mixture in the hole and cover it up.

Step 4

Your dog will go there to dig but will immediately stop. Dog's do not like the smell of their own waste.

That is a great idea, would never have thought of doing that when my dog digs. Dog digging can be a big pain.
