Molly The Pony

Updated on July 10, 2014

Look carefully at this picture...

I'll just bet I know what you're thinking: Okay Jen, so it's a pony. Who cares? She may have mischievous glint in her eye and yep she's definitely cute, but let's face it: there are a gazillion ponies out there just like her. What's the big deal? Does she really need her very own lens? I mean really; ponies are a dime a dozen so what makes her so special anyway?

Now scroll down to the next photograph for the "whole picture". Then you can tell me if you notice anything unusual about Molly that might make her just a little bit special...

So who exactly is Molly anyway? - A terrific little trooper; just watch...

Three reasons we love Molly The Pony

♥ Molly exemplifies not only courage and heart, but an amazing strength of character.

♥ She gives hope to children and adults facing similar challenges.

♥ She is not only blazing her own trail, she is literally "making her mark" via her happy little hoof prints.

Look-Look-Look, Molly has a book :o) - And it's all true, too!

Molly the Pony: A True Story
Molly the Pony: A True Story

Molly the pony waits. She waits in her stall. She waits during the storm. She waits for her owner to return. This is the true story of a patient pony who is rescued from a south Louisiana barn after Hurricane Katrina and finds new life on a farm with new animal friends. But Molly's tale of courage does not end here. Read her story to find out how she amazes veterinarians everywhere...it's awesome!

Isn't she an equine inspiration?

Wow indeed. I love this story. So often all you hear is horses being put down due to leg injuries. I love that Molly has such a different ending to her story.
