Meet My Rats (A Fun Little Hub Dedicated to My Rats)
Meet My Rats
Let us meet my furbabies: Scabbers and Templeton. They are sweet, sweet rats and very loving. You can read their 'profiles' down below. Take note that Templeton looks more grey than brown, and that Scabbers is smaller. Also, meet Teddy (R.I.P) and Little Chef , two more males I obtained from my brother because Teddy had a broken leg and he didn't want the same to happen to Little Chef!

NOTE: Recently, I found that Scabbers had a 'bloody' or 'runny' nose. Please keep him in your prayers.
Scabbers is the Escape Artist, the 'Everything-is-Edible' rat. Down in the My Rats' Favorite Foods chart, you can see some of the outrageous stuff Scabbers eats. Some things I have caught in his mouth are:
...among other things. Scabbers has also eaten erasers and whatnot. Lemme tell you, it's hard taking food from a rat... they hold on. But, when I remove the harmful stuff from Scabbers, then he doesn't bite... he wriggles.
No, Scabbers!... He smells my Tic-tacs... and he's trying to get 'em.
His nickname is Scabby and he's the cutest boy there is. But, be warned: if he smells any of his fave foods on your breath, he will bat at your mouth until he can stick his head inside to see if you've hidden any in your cheeks. He thinks they are big, and wonders if you are a hamster.

NOTE: Templeton has had a condition for a while, but he is slowly improving. As well as Scabbers, keep him in your prayers.
Templeton is a hoarder. Wanna see his stash? Here you go:
His stash is in my bottom dresser drawer where I have made it so he can't mess up the cabinet. He has a collection of paper, raisins, paper, stale cheese (removed every day for safety measures), grain, and... this is my favorite...
He has stashed so much in there, it's unbelievable. He takes it from my trash can (he, thankfully, does not take the overly snotty ones) and runs off with it. He takes a lot from my trash, though. Erasers, cheese, wrappers... haha.
Templeton knows how to jump onto my bed. And there he sits until I give him a chocolate raisin... he goes crazy for those. Fun fact: His nickname is Tempy and he has a big T on his back.

NOTE: Teddy is obese and has a broken leg. I have put him on a diet, which will hopefully reduce the strain on his remaining back leg. Please pray for him!
UPDATE: Teddy died June 26th, 2017. R.I.P.
Teddy is the sweetest rat of the bunch. He loves to lick you (sometimes when he's nervous). His leg is broken, and it will be a few weeks for it to heal, but he still drags himself from the food bowl and back, and his brothers groom him. At all times he is in a toweled cage (his brothers stay in another cage until nightfall, in which then they sleep with him in his cage). He loves to sleep... like his momma.
This little rattie also attempts to climb out of his cage, even with a hurt leg.
His nick is "Ted". Who knew?
Little Chef (Remy)
NOTE: (When a prayer is needed, this will be filled in)
Little Chef does not like to cook. He will not eat anything other than what he's tried and likes. Like me, he does not fancy veggies but will eat them to please those in charge (mainly, me). He is skittish sometimes, and at the exact weight that is healthy for him, unlike Teddy (too fat) and Scabby (a Little too small). He is aloof, and sometimes snotty.
His nickname is Cheffy... so ironic.
