The Story of Little Guy the Cat

Updated on February 24, 2011

How we came to have Little Guy

We lived on 3 acres of an adjoining 200 acre farm that attracted a lot of feral cats and dropped-off cats. When we knew we would be moving, we scrambled to find homes for many of our 12 animals. Through the Animal Compassion Network in Asheville, NC, we found a new home for a very special kitten/cat that showed up. This is his story, his biography, that accompanied him to ACN and ultimately to his new owners and his new forever home. I thought you might like to see this approach to ensure that the new owners knew a lot about their new pet. I recommend biographies or "resumes" of any cat you need to place through an association or network. Speak on behalf of your cat or dog as they continue on their journey through life (or 9 lives)!.

This cat, Little Guy, found a wonderful home in the city instead of a farm. He is very happy, very adored, walks on a leash, is neutered, has all his shots, and is the new "sibling" to a sister in his new home. Thanks everyone at ACN for helping Little Guy! Thanks new owners for giving him a wonderful and loving home!!

This is such a great idea that could help place a lot of homeless animals. New pet owners have to wonder about their little (or big) one's history and what wonders and horrors they went through to get to their new forever home. Good Going!
