Why do you go to the Zoo?

And the perfectly logical answer would be:

To see Flowers!

At least I am!

If you have ever enjoyed the North Carolina Zoo before, you may understand!

I am not always for Zoo environment. I've seen the worst-case scenario with Zoos like Frankfurt a/M in Germany where the elephant enclosure only allowed enough space for one elephant; a condition totally unnatural for a normal elephant!

NC Zoo is nothing like it!

But this article is not about the animals, it is about a beauty that not even a good camera truly can catch!

The first time I went to the zoo I was there to see the animals... and took two steps before I changed my mind. I have been seeing it with different eyes ever since!
The beauty is amazing and I respect those that put so much effort into making this place so beautiful! Everything from tiny local flowers to flowering trees, indoor gardens full of glory and especially the desert area and the indoor area on the African side are just amazing.

If I don't show up directly at opening time, I won't make it to the end by close of business! And if you are with me, just walk ahead! I have about a thousand or so pictures to take of things too many of you won't even notice!

I don't know about other zoos, but this one spends a ton of time on making the entire 'picture' a piece of art. But if you can't see the beautiful pieces of art North Carolina zoo has to offer, visit yours. I hope your experience is as great as ours is; over and over again!
