Museum in the Jaipur Zoo
Museum is a unique feature of Jaipur zoo. The zoo is not only ahead in the preservation of several species but it also preserves the history of animals in Rajasthan. Kings, Monarchs and other Royal family members used to hunt animals in Rajasthan. They keep these animals in their palaces or even in their residential houses for show off. Some of these are brought to Jaipur zoo and displayed in the museum.
Similarly, some animals die their natural death inside the Zoo premises. Some of these animals are mummified and preserved in this museum. Museum in Jaipur zoo is a good place for students and researchers to learn about wildlife in Rajasthan.
