Wildlife Safari - Oregon Attraction Vacation Destination

Updated on February 7, 2013

Exciting place to visit in Oregon

Have you ever thought about visiting Oregon? There are many interesting things to do in Oregon, but if you ever come to visit out beautiful green state, you should definitely stop by a little Southern town of Winston, and have one of the kind experience at the Wildlife Safari. At Wildlife Safari you get a closer look at the wild animals from all over the world, including Africa, Asia and the Americas.

Wildlife Safari is different from the zoo, because animals run free, and you are captive. Animals walk free in the Safari drive thru area, except for the predators, they live in fenced areas, but you still get to look at them closer than any zoo. You would drive on the gravel road that leads all around the park.

There is also Safari Village, where you can park your car and have lunch at the restaurant, visit the gift shop, have a picnic, ride a train, and the most importantly, look at many other animals that you didn't see at the drive thru Safari. Some animals that they have at the village are just absolutely amazing, such as Cotton-top Tamarin monkeys, squirrel size most adorable little creatures you would ever see; baby cheetahs, huge python, and many more exotic and beautiful animals and birds.

Our family had a blast, we absolutely loved Wildlife Safari. It sure is something we have not done before, and it was amazing! Even out little one year old was all eyes, because animals were so close to the car, he was really paying attention. This adventure will be enjoyable by adults and children alike.

By paying admission, you get to drive thru two times the same day.

For the admission costs and hours please visit Wildlife Safari website as those details might change in the future.

Your photos are great! I'd definitely enjoy seeing this animal park. We head out to Seattle every year to visit friends; Oregon isn't far. I'm going to look into this for our next trip. Thank you for sharing!
