World's Smallest Animal Shelter

World's Smallest Animal Shelter

Originally posted October 29, 2010

A friend of mine sent me this video showing the world's smallest animal shelter and I wanted to share it with everyone.

Please click here for YouTube video showing this street vendor style shelter.

Located in Bangkok, Thailand, this one woman Thai rescue is saving stray dogs one dog at a time. She was set up on Thanon Tanao Road, next to (Ban Tuk Din Mosque) and close to the Khaosan Rd.

She was forced to move and her latest address is listed as behind the Temple Soi Ram Buttri, next to Chanasongkhram Temple, Khaosan Rd. Chances are she'll be forced to move again, as her presence on the city streets is a bit of an oddity and I seriously doubt city officials appreciate her animal welfare efforts.

Anyone who believes the actions of one person cannot change the life of a stray dog (or stray cat) needs to take a look at this video. Each of us has it within ourselves to make a difference in the animal world.

The Thai lady with the world's smallest animal shelter is proof that each of us can do our part.
