Zapos the Kitty is the Greatest Kitty in the World

Zapos the Kitty is the Greatest Kitty in the World

My kitty Zapos has been with us for over 9 years now. We adopted her from a farm family in a neighboring county. They were giving away a litter of barn kittens. I think the kittens were born in a shoe, maybe that's why Zapos loves shoes so much. She sleeps on shoes and plays with laces all day long.

Zappos loves to chew anything handy. She once chewed through a the water supply line for our refrigerator ice maker. The plastic line was pinpricked with innumerable teeth marks. What a leak that caused! We had quite a bit of cleanup, but I replaced the line with something much more durable and we have had no problems since.

One thing that Zappos will not chew is a shoe. She possesses a special reverence for footwear.

Zapos, Shoes! Zapos in the clothes drier, perhaps looking for shoes.

All we have to say is Zapos, shoes! and she jumps into the clothes dryer.

      How very cute!

I am amazed by your cats. I have two cats myself, and they could be identical twins to yours. My youngest one is big, fat and gray w/tan markings, and my older cat is black and white.

I've just had to de-flea them, and boy, do they act weird after the stuff is put on. The fatso has taken to climbing on things she shouldn't be on and knocking things over. The older one tends to hide. I'm simply waiting for it to subside.

Very cute hub, thanks for sharing.
